Deleting your Tandy Messenger account

How to delete

1. Open Tandy Messenger: the phone app, or the web app in any browser (even if the app is no longer installed).
2. Sign in with the same Google or Apple account.
3. Settings → About → "Delete my account", and confirm.

Can't sign in? Write to us: tandamn.app@gmail.com. Write from the account's email; if needed we'll ask you to sign in with it once to make sure it's yours.

Deleting only some data, keeping the account

• A Tandem you shared by link: Settings → About → "Every Tandem in the app", and remove it.
• Notifications: turn them off, and the notification address is deleted from our server.
• Tandy AI: turn it off in Settings → About; from then on nothing is sent.
• Anything else: write to tandamn.app@gmail.com from the account's email and we'll delete what you ask.

Deleted at once

• Your account, age range and the name you chose to show.
• Your Tandems, including those you shared by link.
• Your keys, the locked copies of your chats, blocks, notification addresses and credits.
• If you signed in with Apple, the app's access to your Apple account is revoked.

What stays

• Messages you sent to others stay with them, as in any messenger.
• Reports you sent stay for review, without your name.
• What is kept on the device itself (your chat with Tandy, photos, settings) goes when you remove the app or clear the site's data in your browser.
